Software Development Manager



 Create and enhance multi-tier high-quality SaaS solutions, on-time and on budget that delight customers.
 Work with Agile Teams, their Scrum masters, and product owners to establish project priorities and assure alignment with Product management in order to achieve product delivery goals.
 Review the cost/benefit analyses of design alternatives, collaborate with technical staff on design selection and oversee development and implementation of designs.
 Proactively manage and develop team employees, including but not limited to hiring talent, career development/training, performance management, etc.
 Foster an environment in which employees are encouraged to be innovative and are rewarded for innovation.  
 Proactively generate relevant ideas for new and improved use of technology. Recommend technology strategies that either match or preempt competitor capabilities.
 Provides input into teams’ budgets (project budgets, schedules and resource requirements). 

 BSCS required.  
 Requires 4+ years’ experience managing Agile Software development teams  
 Must be a been there/done that leader of Software Development teams with a successful track record of delivering multi-tier SaaS solutions on time, with high quality and that delight customers.
 Experience creating and building out new high-performing software development teams.
 Demonstrated success with Agile methodologies, primarily SCRUM.  
 Exposure to a broad range of technical areas including endpoint security, penetration testing, networking protocols, and virtualization technology
 Experience designing and implementing quality up-front initiatives required.
 Ability to work hand in hand with Product Management to achieve product delivery goals.
 Experience leading teams who develop on the full end-to-end Microsoft stack.
 Strong organizational, planning and communication skills required.
 Experience with OCR technologies and US mortgage industry preferred.
